Offering flavorful halal chicken\lamb\falafel platters, wraps and smash burgers with our signature sauces.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Albany, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 10 AMโ10:30 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (518) 472-0214. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, dtplatters.com.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 128 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pan-asian restaurants in Albany.
Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Albany follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Best Chicken Over Rice in Albany? Unlike other McDonaldโs standard halal places with precooked frozen meat that gets delivered to the stores and heated up on grill. Everything from Meat, Rice, Veggies, Sauces are homemade and Fresh. Best Platters for your money, cheaper in store then ordering online as online apps charge absurd fees and rob customer, drivers and restaurants.

Ok sooooo, I just found my new food spot when I'm in the area. I had the mix wrap, a smash burger and my son had the mix platter and those messy fries lol. EVERYTHING was fresh and flavorful. I'm allergic to literally everything and the rare occasion when I eat out, my stomach reacts lol. I enjoyed every bite. The portions are ample and I gave some to other people who also enjoyed it so, I'm spreading the word!!

We were driving through and looking for a quicker dinner than sit down but healthier than fast food, and decided to give this a try. We were both very happy with our orders! We got two different platters, both delicious and well portioned, at a good price point! The mild sauce was very flavorful, and the white sauce was delicious without any heat. The fries were hot and fresh. My only disappointment was that the semi recent photo of the menu showed baklava, but it's not on the menu now. But dinner was delicious! I've included a new photo of the menu- the smaller platters don't include fries. I highly recommend Downtown Platters!

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ 5/5 I ordered the lamb and rice platter, and it was absolutely delicious! The lamb was perfectly seasoned and tender, with just the right amount of spice. The rice was flavorful and cooked perfectlyโsoft and fragrant without being greasy. The white sauce tied everything together beautifully, and the portion size was generous enough to be satisfying without feeling too heavy. You can really taste the freshness in every bite. Iโll definitely be coming back for this again!
